Social Campaign Concepts for the Amazon Prime series, RICHES.

Riches is about a Black immigrant family vying for control of “Flair & Glory” — the London-based hair and cosmetics empire that made them filthy rich.

Since the cast is large and relatively unknown in the US, some concepts prioritize introducing both the actors and the characters they play. Some involve teaming up with widely-followed beauty industry insiders to get their take on game changing techniques and cutting-edge looks. Most top tier beauty influencers are also entrepreneurs (like the fictional founder of “F&G”). So they can also speak on what it takes to thrive in such a competitive industry. Lifestyle and fashion influencers from both the US and UK will discuss the show, the drama, and help bring Black London to life. All concepts prioritize fun, cultural authenticity, and relatability on both sides of the pond!

ROLE CALL

It’s time to introduce the world to the Richards family. In the style of a fashion runway, we’ll see each of the cast members walking through a stylized luxe set. When they strike a pose, we’ll freeze frame them as if they’re being photographed for fashion week, treat the footage with a slight grain, and have their character name appear over the footage in graphics. We’ll throw to a quick show clip of their character to tease their personality and hierarchy within the family.

In POV of “Nina” — Deborah will run down the list of each of our character's names direct to cam. This VO will be paired with the fashion runway footage. If possible, Deborah can say characteristics about each character she is calling out.

(roll call) First up — Claudia. We might not always see eye-to-eye, but she would do anything for her kids.
